Privacy Policy

Last updated January 2026

This policy explains what data Draftr collects, why, and the choices you have. We aim to collect as little as possible.

1. What we collect

  • Account data: your name, email address and a securely hashed password (we never store your password in plain text).
  • Usage data: how many generations you have used, so we can apply your plan limits.
  • Content you submit: the briefs you write and the pages you generate.
  • Technical data: basic request information (such as IP address) used to keep the Service secure and rate-limit abuse.

2. How we use it

To provide and operate the Service, authenticate you, enforce usage limits, prevent abuse, and communicate with you about your account. We do not sell your personal data.

3. Cookies

We use a single essential cookie to keep you signed in. It is httpOnly and contains only an opaque session token — no personal data. We do not use advertising cookies.

4. Sharing

We share data only with the service providers needed to run Draftr (for example, our database and email providers), and where required by law.

5. Retention

We keep your account data while your account is active. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete your personal data. Contact us to exercise them.

7. Contact

For privacy questions or requests, reach us from the contact details on the Draftr site.
